The recently created company cloudSME UG held its first meeting in Duisburg last January. After the business model was shaped with the support of all the partners, CloudSME UG was funded in the City of Duisburg in order to exploit the outcomes and results of CloudSME project and offer real innovative services to customers.
During the meeting, the basis for the new company and the strategy for the following months after the end of the project in March were set. This includes the future strong collaboration with the European Grid Initiative (EGI) including the connection further European computing centres, and the NAFEMS. This involves the participation in conferences such as NAFEMS DACH (April 2016), NAFEMS Seminar in Manchester (February 2016), or the “Access to finance for SMEs” workshop organised by the European Commission (February 2016).
CloudSME AppCenter is already launched and up to 15 demos are available to test the opportunities of using MSaaS (Modelling and Simulation as a Service). Get more information at: http://www.cloudsme-apps.com/
